In healthcare, people are busy. If you feel that you don’t have enough time to do your work, how can you find the time to improve? Yet everyone has ideas. Ideas about how work can be improved, how care can be improved or how we can reduce the pressure. At S&L Zorg, they wanted to get people into action to express and realize the creative ideas they have. To achieve this they created a platform where ideas can be shared, a project structure to support people in the implementation and money and time for the people who want to get started with ideas. The project was named: De leukste …plek (The nicest …place) and was supported by a substantial internal campaign.

The campaign started secretly. At more than 30 locations, in the evening, special icons were drawn with chalk spray with the help of residents. The icons were in the form of a so-called placeholder (as for example in google maps). The then unknown project logo was applied without text and in secret. Rumor started . An then it really began, the questions were the start of the activation of creativity. Nine days later, the additional text was sprayed. The meaning of the icon was revealed.

Rollout of a broad campaign in one day

On the day of the unveiling, a variety of internal media was immediately filled with the campaign and explanation. .

Online

A website was launched about the project with explanations and examples. The existing intranet was completely taken over in the style of ‘De Leukste … Plek’.

Desktop takeover and narrowcasting

On the day of the unveiling, all the desktops of all employees suddenly had a completely different look. Yes. Of course completely in the project style. All narrowcasting screens were also taken over by the project.

Dropflags

In central places everyone found drop flags (which ‘accidentally’ have the shape of a placeholder).

Flyer

All employees received an extremely cute flyer about the project in the shape of a heart.

Toolkit

And employees who submit a good idea? They receive a complete toolkit to get started. Of course also in the form of this campaign.

The effect

The effect of the project reveals itself later, it has only just started. In any case, the campaign was effective. No employee has overlooked it, and within two weeks of its launch, the counter stood at 42 submitted ideas. That is how you activate creativity!

The project was started with the support of Bureau de Bont. The graphic design of the entire campaign is by Eva Selij.
